Hello & Welcome

I didn't start with mindfulness. I started with psychopathology.

For years, I lived inside clinical research: studying how early life shapes mental health, how minds adapt to stress and trauma, and what patterns emerge when people struggle. The questions were real and the work felt important. But the more I understood about what goes wrong, the more I found myself drawn to a different question: what does it actually look like when things go right?

Understanding the mind (academically and clinically) and actually helping people live better inside theirs turned out to be two very different things. I wanted to focus on the second.

Mindful Minds is what came out of that. Something structured enough to be useful, grounded in enough research to be trustworthy, and simple enough that someone could begin on an unremarkable Tuesday without overhauling their life. Tools for the gap: between knowing something needs to change and knowing how to start.

My husband Stan shares this journey with me, behind the scenes (and just as often right beside me), helping to bring our vision to life.

What we've built draws on mindfulness, emotional intelligence (EQ), and positive psychology. Not because they're popular, but because the evidence behind them is solid and their real-world applications are concrete. Small, consistent shifts in awareness genuinely change how you move through your day.

I'm glad you found us.
